Where will my appointments be?
Appointments are offered either within your own home or within West Kirby Physiotherapy clinic. This is your choice depending on what you prefer.
If you choose to be assessed and treated within your home, please think about the nature of what we will be discussing and therefore who you would like to be around. Some patients like to have a family member or a friend present throughout the appointment, whilst others like total privacy. We need to use a room which has curtains or blinds that can be closed, and a toilet with hand washing facilities close by. Some space is needed to assess you and to practice exercises. A bed or couch/sofa for examination and two towels also may be required.
If you choose to be treated within the clinic environment, you will be assessed and treated within a private room. No one else will access the room during appointments. The physiotherapy clinic will usually have a receptionist, and other patients may be in the waiting area. No one will have access to your clinical information other than your physiotherapist. You may bring a relative or friend with you if you wish, or request a chaperone from the clinic.
Home Visits
If you would prefer treatment within the comfort of your own home, a home visit can be arranged. We provide home visits, please contact to arrange.
